[Workshop] Discover our Transverse Software Stack as well as the new Software Forge.

The Technical Department of Oceane Consulting DM presented on Thursday afternoon the first version of the transverse software stack as well as the new software forge.

This environment was designed to support the start of upcoming projects and to help existing projects with their modernization. This is a first version that will evolve and be enhanced over time.

The software foundation is based on an architecture composed of the following reference technologies:

• A Java backend

  • Spring (Boot, Security, Web MVC, JPA…)
  • PostgreSQL
• A web frontend
  • Vue.js (Vuex, router)
  • PrimeVue
  • SASS
• Flexible and preconfigured local execution configurations based on requirements
  • Advanced "one click" environment
    • Docker compose
  • Lightweight "one click" environment
    • Spring boot run (Tomcat embedded + bundled frontend + H2)
  • Advanced custom environment
    • Tomcat installed or embedded for the backend
    • PostgreSQL installed locally or on server
    • NPM web server with hot reload for the frontend

The software forge includes in this first version a set of tools enabling automation of the entire project deliverable construction chain: source management, compilation, testing, code analysis and packaging.
