The context
BBVA wanted to define an architecture for the global deployment of Nuxeo as a unified document management platform, in a very high availability environment.
The project objectives covered several dimensions:
- Define an architecture for the global deployment of Nuxeo
- Develop connectors towards existing technical components
- Define and configure the platform in a very high availability environment
- Assist with deployment under Amazon Docker and S3
- Ensure best practices and proper usage around the Nuxeo platform in BBVA's functional and technical context
Our intervention
Océane Consulting DM intervened in Nuxeo architecture and technical expertise, as well as in ECM functional expertise.
- Definition of the technical stack: MongoDB, ElasticSearch, Amazon S3, Amazon Docker
- Definition and implementation of connectors (storage, billing)
- Tuning and optimization (MongoDB, Nuxeo)
- Progressive document migration

Results
The platform was deployed at global scale in very high availability, with progressive migration covering several tens of millions of documents at launch and a target of several billion documents.
