The context
ANSES needed to implement tools for processing Marketing Authorization (MA) applications for plant protection products. The project, the TOP application, was carried out on a fixed-price basis and then in TMA, leveraging Liferay, BPM, Nuxeo, BO, Oracle, JAVA, J2EE and Windows Server technologies.
Our intervention
The project objectives covered the entire processing of MA applications:
- Implementation of basic processes for handling Marketing Authorization applications for plant protection products
- Management of MA decision-making by ANSES
- Management of experts, committees and associated documentation
- Implementation of the scientific repository used for scientific evaluations
- Electronic management of incoming and outgoing correspondence documents and documents produced during application processing
- Development of reporting tools for ANSES DPR (BO Reports)
- Data recovery (repositories) required for project functionalities
The results
- Definition of the solution architecture
- Integration of ECM and BPM functionalities within the Liferay portal
- Development of the scientific repository
- Modeling of the MA process using the Workey BPM engine
- Implementation of a Data Warehouse, with BO reports
- Functional and technical design of the solution in collaboration with ANSES business project managers
- Drafting of project documentation (detailed functional specifications, technical architecture document, test plans and reports, installation manual)
- Development implementation, unit and factory testing
- Maintenance and operation of the solution
- Training and change management support
- Evolutionary maintenance and operational condition maintenance
