The context
The CRR application enables users of radio equipment on board river and maritime vessels to track the process of obtaining the Restricted Certificate of Radiotelephone Operator (CRR). It is deployed for users in mainland France, New Caledonia and French Polynesia.
The project objectives aimed to accelerate processes, gain credibility, reliability and performance, rationalize the information system and meet milestones by testing solutions before key dates.
Our intervention
Oceane Consulting DM has been supporting ANFR since 2022 on an ongoing project around a platform built with Java, Spring and VueJS.
The transformation was conducted along several axes:
- Dematerialization, simplification and automation of processes.
- Integration of business units in the transformation thinking.
- Involvement of end users in understanding uses.
- Interfacing of information system components to avoid manual data transfers between systems.
- Reconsideration of aging management applications.
The results
By involving business units and user representatives from the design phase, then during implementation and testing, the project enabled the selection of improvements with the highest business value and best return on investment.
The approach guarantees accelerated, more reliable processes better integrated into the agency's information system.
