The Context
Colleges Of Excellence (CoE), based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is a leading company in the Kingdom that provides technical and professional training services. It acts as a bridge between the best professional and educational service providers, at local and global levels, financing agencies, legislators, labor market organizers, education supervision and evaluation agencies, as well as employers in the public and private sectors.
CoE wishes to structure and unify the documentation of its schools across all administrative, communication and management areas. Having previously used Windows network file spaces, the organization is seeking to simplify deposits and manage document access and search more precisely.
Our Intervention
The Nuxeo platform was selected by CoE to provide these functions. CoE called upon Oceane Consulting DM via Nuxeo (now Hyland) to ensure the deployment of the platform and propose a comprehensive document management solution.
Oceane Consulting DM defined the target architecture, installed and configured the new platform, ensured data recovery from Windows network spaces, and then carried out the platform implementation.
The solution is based on Nuxeo LTS 2019 (CoE Cloud infrastructure), PostgreSQL 11, Elasticsearch 6 and shared storage. Nuxeo Drive simplifies deposits for users.
Results
CoE's internal and external stakeholders now have a unified workspace enabling them to deposit, classify, organize, search and consult all school documentation.
- Fine-grained permission management ensures document confidentiality and access control.
- Access traceability via audit trail provides additional assurance, particularly for external users.
CoE has subscribed to Oceane Consulting DM's Nuxeo Platform Support offering to ensure maintenance, monitoring and regular updates of the platform, guaranteeing its availability, accessibility and security.
